Sarah Christine Bolton
Sarah Christine Bolton has been cooking and writing since she was very young. Her earliest culinary achievement was a three course French meal at age 11, and since then has had a myriad of successes and failures in the kitchen. She learned from her mom how to make homemade whole wheat bread, her dad how to barbeque, and her brother how to make spaghetti. Sarah grew up in a household where fresh, organic ingredients were always used, and as a result, has continued to base her recipes on the concept that food should taste amazing and be good for your body. Because she has lived in many different areas of the United States, she enjoys merging different local cuisines and specialties.
Two years ago, she started writing about her food adventures, and has been contributing regularly to the Jackson Free Press. She has also written food pieces for Mississippi Parent, Memphis Flyer, and Edible Memphis.
Besides cooking and finding new recipes, Sarah loves to run, travel to exotic places and eat strange food, read, play gin rummy with her husband John, and drink way too much coffee.
