Amy M. Powell is a graduate of the famed French Culinary Institute. She also holds a degree in Hospitality Administration from Cornell University.
Amy has written New York area restaurant reviews for Five Star Reviews and has served as recipe tester for The Good Home Cookbook. She has prepared food for patrons of upscale restaurants both in The Hamptons and in California wine country. She also has worked for some of the most prestigious bottled water and tea suppliers in the US, specializing in
the fine dining market.
After seven years of calling New York home, Amy has returned to her Southern California roots. Although New York City will always hold a special place in her heart, she now relishes long runs on the beach and testing recipes from her ocean-view kitchen. When she is not cooking, she enjoys running marathons, reading Bret Easton Ellis, watching independent movies, and mastering the art of the cocktail.
